Test Images From The Fujifilm GFX 100s

Last Monday I had the opportunity to try out the brand new Fujifilm GFX 100s at my local camera store. I had never shot with a medium format camera before and felt a little intimidating at first. However, after taking a couple shots (and trying to figure out how the flash worked since I never use flashes) I have to say I think I found my dream camera.

The GFX 100s features a whopping 102 mp sensor. This feels like the epitome of a professional camera. I held onto these files for the past week waiting for Adobe to update for the codec of this file type, plus, my new Mac Mini actually took a couple of seconds to render these images out - a “problem” I have yet to encounter with this powerful editing machine. To say that the quality coming from this camera is absolutely stunning, is an understatement. If anyone from Fujifilm reads this, you can totally send one out to me to try out if you want…I would not say no to trying this out even more. This will be my future camera, there is no doubt about that. A huge thank you to Fujifilm GFX North America and Matt Weintritt for letting me test and other photographers test this camera out!
